| Paola, a native of Colombia, graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia with a degree in Mass Communication. As a former employee in the Child and Youth Services for the Army, Paola provided training, and developed curriculum and training materials focusing on childcare nutrition. The mother of two children, Paola and her husband understand the benefit of teaching children a second language early and they are currently raising their sons in a bilingual household (English and Spanish). In addition to living in Colombia and the United States, Paola has lived in Germany and has visited several European countries. She loves to travel and loves to learn about different cultures and languages. She has also visited many Spanish-speaking countries including Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Panama, Uruguay, and Argentina. Paola looks forward to sharing her native language and culture with the FwFL students! |
